In 2006 LITD began to establish house groups where children and youths live together. Most of them come from families with great problems who have never experienced a regular normal life.
In the house groups about a dozen children, who suit each other in their stage of development, live together round the clock. The groups are now led by the older youths who have been involved in LITD from the beginning. Our leading collaborators are always available for them if they need advice.
The house groups are accommodated in simple houses having a toilet and bathroom, so that the standard goes far beyond the normal standard of housing in the ghetto.
The children are provided with regular meals, clothes and medicine.
Apart from that we take care of their daily school attendance and necessary private coaching.
